Signs and Symptoms:

  • Pain with stair climbing and especially going down the stairs
  • Pain with prolonged sitting (watching a movie, riding on an airplane)
  • Extreme pain when squatting and kneeling

Treatment options include rest, ice, medications, physical therapy, taping, knee sleeve and, in severe cases, surgery.
